Julia is a licensed massage therapist who has been in practice since graduating in 2005 from Stone Clan School of Massage in Montrose, CO.  She set up her first massage studio in Cedaredge, CO and ran a successful massage business for ten years. During that time, she also began apprenticing with Josh Geetter L.Ac. at the Hotchkiss Community Acupuncture Clinic.  For five years, she was trained in basic Traditional Chinese Medicine. 

Acupressure, Chinese massage techniques (Tui Na), Gua Sha and cupping are some of the therapies she integrates with more Western massage styles to facilitate healing and relaxation.  In 2018 she attended Southwest Ashiatsu Massage and Bodywork Academy to add another modality to her practice.

Upon moving to Grand Junction in 2017, she worked at Body Therapeutics until 2021, when she decided to open up a massage business again, Ladder Creek Massage.  

Every client is considered a teacher, and she learns something new from every interaction. Experience of nearly fifteen years has taught her a lot, but also has taught her she is still far from knowing everything... Every session is tailored to fit each individual.
