A few words about "Natural"

'Natural' gets thrown around a lot these days, and since it's not regulated, it can mean just about anything. Here's what it means to us: No synthetics, no artificial colors or scents in our products. We use pure essential oils, absolutes, and extracts for fragrance, and raw botanicals like cocoa powder, flower powders, clays, and micas for color. We make our soaps the old-fashioned way—using the traditional cold process method that's been around for thousands of years (yes, really—soap making dates back to ancient Babylon in 2800 BC!).
